The design is right-handed, but since you can place it to the left or in front of an external keyboard, it’s easier for a left-hander to utilize than the QWERTY-style Editor Keyboard. Although you can perform much of the cut page editing operation from Speed Editor, it won’t entirely replace your keyboard and mouse or trackpad. It will pair with Resolve (version 17 or 18), but not other apps nor the Finder. It operates over Bluetooth, but firmware updates and charging require a USB-C connection. Seeing what BND did with the ATEM Mini a V2 Speed Editor is more likely than an app to remap the CAM keys in the current Speed Editor.Speed Editor retails for $395 and includes a license key for DaVinci Resolve Studio. I suspect that by Resolve V20 there won't be a Speed Editor bundle deal unless it is for the Speed Editor V2. Which is still a good deal (caveat I still want a BMD app to remap the CAM keys in Resolve).Ĭharles mentioned above that apparently BMD stopped the original bundle deal in the UK in October 2021. this shows that the Studio + Speed Editor Bundle is now £80/$100 more than just the Studio alone (at least in the UK). The point was that, as quite often it seems people pop up asking if the Studio + free Speed Editor is still on. before the July Issue? though I would rather wait a couple of weeks/a month for a stable release than it being rushed out. I assume that as it is in Beta 3 now that the full release is imminent, I.e. No "coming soon!" or "it's in Beta" the implications from the advert are that it is available now.
